Company founders Don Puccetti and Mark Bartolutti worked as roofers together since 1983, while attending the University of Wisconsin in Madison. Their passion for roofing drove them to pursue their own business, and in 1986 a Corporation was formed. When Don and Mark first started their business, they were working from Don’s 2-bedroom apartment. A lot has changed since then; Great Lakes Roofing moved four times before finally settling in Germantown, WI in 1999. In 2003 our Fox Valley branch was opened, and not much later we expanded to the Madison area, then to Waukegan, IL.
