When our crews leave each of the Great Lakes Roofing facilities and head to the job site, they see our safety motto: “Be Safe or Die”.
It's short and to the point; not sugar-coated. If you are not safe while working on the roof, you can die.
“Be Safe or Die” is not just a phrase to the people working at Great Lakes Roofing. Every day, our workers go out knowing one wrong move could cause them to never come home. We want all our roofers home and in one piece at the end of the day, which is one of the many reasons safety comes first here. Weekly meetings and presentations held at every branch are centered on safety – and all crewmembers must attend. Aside from meetings, there is “Be Safe or Die” signage in every crew lounge, garage and truck bay at GLRC – a constant reminder that safety truly saves lives.
